It’s Easy to Make a Voxofon Call on your Android

  1. Open the Voxofon app
  2. Enter an international phone number (including country code) in the keypad  or select a contact
  3. Press ‘Call’
  4. A Voxofon window will pop up, listing your calling options. The call rate will appear.
  5. Click ‘Call via Local Number’ to route the call through a local Voxofon access number or click ‘WiFi or 3G’ to make a VoIP call

IMPORTANT: Make sure you see the Voxofon window before the call, otherwise the call may go through your operator. Voxofon’s VoIP add-on must be installed for pure VoIP calls. Click here to download the add-on app for Android.

How Much Does it Cost?

Calls via Local Numbers

When you call abroad via local numbers, you will pay your operator for the local call and the app will use 1-2 KB of data.

Your Voxofon account will be charged for the international part of call (from 1 ¢/min). The Voxofon call rate will appear automatically prior to your international call.

Calls via VoIP – 3G or Wifi

When you make a VoIP call, you do not use your local minutes. The entire call will connect through the Internet.  You can even remove your SIM card and still make calls through WiFi or VoIP on Android.
