Signing up
Signing up is easy and only requires that you enter your email address, mobile number (including country code) and a password. We will create your account and immediately give you credit so you can start making calls and try out the service. Depending on where you call, this credit will be good for up to 30 minutes – enjoy!
How to Call Abroad
For your convenience, we have created a separate guide that will help you to make international calls. Choose your platform or calling method method below:
How Do I Reset my Password?
If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it here, or send a request to support@voxofon.com and we will send you a new password. Please note that for your security reasons if you had 6 or more failed log in attempts your account will be blocked. If this is the case, just send us an email to support@voxofon.com
You can change your temporary password online by logging in to your existing account at Voxofon.com and selecting the ‘My Account’ area.
Adding Call Credit
You can refill your account online at Voxofon.com using your computer, or directly from the Voxofon app on a smartphone. We accept payments made with credit cards and from PayPal accounts. For your security considerations, you will be able to use only one PayPal account for your payments. If you need to make any adjustments, please let us know at support@voxofon.com
I Got a New Phone Number/SIM Card
If you change your SIM card or phone number you can still use the same Voxofon account. Everything you have to do is change your phone number under your Voxofon account and, if you are using a smartphone application you will have to edit the number within the Voxofon Application on your phone.
What Is a Callback?
Callbacks are useful when you cannot (or don’t want to) dial a local Voxofon access number. This would be the case, for example, if the Voxofon access number is not local or if it results in a high cost to you for any reason. In some countries local access numbers are not available due to some federal regulations, and in this case callbacks are very useful.
Roaming – Can I Use Voxofon when I Travel?
When you travel, we recommend that you use a local SIM card and change your phone number under your account, and – if you are using a smartphone – within the application (“This Mobile Phone”). This way, you will pay for local rates when you call the local Voxofon access number.
The most economical way is to use your laptop while you travel. Many hotels provide high speed Internet access and you could simply call home from your laptop using a headset.
For Android phone users, Voxofon offers a VoIP add on that allows to make pure WiFi calls and thus avoid any carriers.
IMPORTANT: You may incur very expensive roaming charges if you use your home country’s SIM card while you are traveling!
