Need to make international calls? Use Voxofon’s Two-Way Local Calling to get unique local phone numbers for all of your international contacts. That way, you can dial a local number from your Voxofon-registered mobile or landline phone to reach your loved ones abroad.

These local numbers are permanent, so store them in the address book on your mobile, the speed dial feature on your home phone or simply put it up in the refrigerator door for the whole family to use.

Inbound International Calls

Want to make it easier and cheaper for your loved ones abroad to call you? Use Voxofon’s Two-Way Local Calling Service to turn your international number into a local number for your friends and family abroad. All they’ll have to do is pick up a phone and dial your Voxofon local number to reach you. You’ll pay for the Voxofon connection. For calls to the US, the Voxofon rate is a low 1.3¢/min.

Simply click on the contact in your contact list that needs to reach you. Below their phone numbers click “Allow this contact to call me by dialing a local number. I will pay for the call.” Your new local numbers will appear below.

How do I setup Two-Way Local Calling?

1. Verify (and add if necessary) your own numbers under your Voxofon account. You can access this area from your smartphone app or by logging in to Voxofon.com and clicking “My Phone Numbers”.
2. On Voxofon.com, go to “My Voxofon” and click on any contact (or add a new contact). To the right of your contact’s international number, click “show local number.” You will immediately get the corresponding local number for this contact.
3. Dial the local number you just obtained from any of your Voxofon-registered phones and you will instantly reach your contact abroad, without the need for PIN codes or complex numeric commands.

How much does it cost?

Using a unique local number for international calls from your mobile or landline phone does not cost you anything extra! There are no setup or monthly fees; only the Voxofon low cost international calling rates apply.

Can my family members call abroad, too?

Your and your family members can use the same account and same local numbers to talk to the same set of international contacts – and they can make international calls from mobile phone that they own! As long as your family member’s phone numbers are registered under your Voxofon account you all will be able to call internationally from any mobile, landline or smartphone.
